With deepfake videos and artificial intelligence scams becoming more sophisticated, cybersecurity experts are urging the public to be cautious.

Bezalel Eithan Raviv, CEO of Lionsgate, shared insights on how these scams operate and the best ways to reduce personal risk. He explained that many of the latest scams use A.I. to mimic real voices and faces, making it harder for people to spot fraud.

Key points from Raviv’s advice:

  • Always double-check unusual requests, even if they appear to come from someone you know.

  • Protect personal data online and avoid oversharing on social media.

  • Stay alert for red flags, such as urgent money requests or unfamiliar phone numbers.

“These technologies are powerful, but awareness is the first step to protecting yourself,” Raviv said.
